1. Acceptance

By accessing or using PassMyEssay, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

PassMyEssay provides AI-powered tools for humanizing AI-generated text and scanning text for patterns associated with AI generation. Results are probabilistic and depend on third-party AI models. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, including the behaviour of any third-party detection service.

3. Eligible use

PassMyEssay is a writing aid. You agree not to use the platform to:

  • Submit work in violation of your school's, employer's, or any other institution's policies.
  • Facilitate plagiarism, academic dishonesty, or fraud.
  • Generate or attempt to generate content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes the rights of others.
  • Probe, reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform in any way.

You are solely responsible for any work you submit to a third party and for compliance with the rules of your institution.

4. Accounts and billing

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Plan pricing and word limits are shown on the pricing page at time of purchase. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card number. Cancel any time from Account → Billing portal; access continues until the end of the current period.

5. Refunds

All purchases are final except in the limited cases described in our Refund Policy. Detection results, output quality, unused subscription time, and change of mind are not grounds for a refund.

6. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be modified or discontinued. Word allowances and pricing may change for future billing periods with notice.

7. Ownership

You retain all rights to text you submit and to the rewritten output the tool produces for you. We do not use your submissions to train AI models.

8. Limitation of liability

PassMyEssay is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including academic penalties, professional consequences, or losses arising from the use or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
