Essay space remover Choose which spacing to tidy while keeping paragraph structure under your control.

A pasted paragraph may contain repeated spaces or tabs that make alignment uneven. A local space remover can normalise selected spacing characters so prose is easier to edit, while the side-by-side original lets you see what changed. Use this in-browser PassMyEssay utility to compare your source text with the edited result before adding it to your essay.

What does the essay space remover do?

An essay space remover normalises selected spacing characters. PassMyEssay runs this utility in your browser and shows the original beside the result so you can inspect what the settings changed.

Clean spacing without flattening the document

A pasted paragraph may contain repeated spaces or tabs that make alignment uneven. A local space remover can normalise selected spacing characters so prose is easier to edit, while the side-by-side original lets you see what changed.

Spacing can also carry structure in code, tables, examples, or a carefully aligned quotation. Work on a short copy and choose only the options you need rather than applying a broad cleanup to every part of a document.

The repeated space and tab are normalised while the paragraph separation remains visible for review.

Choose the setting that matches the problem

If words appear separated by several spaces, collapsing repeated spaces may help. If a line contains a tab copied from a spreadsheet, decide whether the column relationship matters before converting it to ordinary spacing.

Do not remove every whitespace character blindly. A missing separator can join words, while a table may become unreadable once alignment is removed. Compare the result in the surrounding text and use reset if the selected operation is too broad.

Check word boundaries and paragraph structure

After processing, scan the start and end of each line and every place where a tab or repeated space appeared. Confirm that no words merged, citations stayed with the right sentence, and paragraph breaks still separate distinct points.

The operation edits text characters, not document styling. If the original problem is indentation or page layout, adjust formatting in your editor rather than trying to solve it by changing the text string.

Use the cleaned copy as a working version

The utility runs in the browser and shows the original beside the result. Try a small sample, review it, then copy only the version you want. Reset restores the working fields so you can start again from the supplied text.

It does not judge whether a sentence is clear, whether a source supports a claim, or whether a draft is ready to submit. Once spacing is fixed, reread the paragraph for argument and citation issues separately.

Tune the spacing options for the source you pasted

The default settings trim spaces at the start and end of lines, collapse repeated spaces, convert tabs to one space, remove spaces before common punctuation, and collapse extra blank lines to one. “Blank lines” also offers keep or delete, so choose keep when the gap separates paragraphs or delete only when you intend a continuous list.

“All spaces” is off by default. Turning it on removes every ordinary space and tab after the other cleanup steps, joining words together. Leave it off for prose. The visible marks and per-option impact counts help identify which option would change each part of your sample.

Use spacing cleanup for a specific source problem

For example, a paragraph copied from a PDF may contain a tab at the beginning, two spaces before a comma, and three blank lines between sections. Keep paragraphs set to one, let the tab become a space, and review the marked punctuation before copying the result.

If alignment came from a table, do not flatten it automatically. Convert the material into a proper table in your editor or retain the original layout. The utility has no knowledge of columns, indentation rules, or the visual purpose of a space.

Keep the meaning intact

What should you check in the result?

Compare the result with the original before copying it into your document. This utility changes text locally and does not check argument quality, source accuracy or authorship.

For the written argument, use the essay phrase checker, grammar checker or word counter for a separate, clearly defined revision task.

Your questions

Essay space remover FAQ

Does this remove all spaces?

No. It applies the selected spacing operation. Review the output to ensure words and intended separators remain.

Will it preserve table alignment?

Not necessarily. Tabs and repeated spaces may be structural in tables; compare a copy before using the result.

It processes pasted text locally. Layout and styles in your source document are not reconstructed.

Can I undo an operation?

Use the original shown beside the result or reset the tool, then try a narrower setting.
