Does the cleaner rewrite my essay?
No. It operates on supported characters and keeps the original separate from the cleaned result.
PassMyEssay’s local paste cleaner separates your original draft from a cleaned result and lets you select supported character groups. It preserves U+200C and U+200D joiners; directional marks and variation/tag groups are off by default. Compare multilingual text, notation and layout before copying the result.

An essay paste cleaner removes selected hidden characters and spacing artifacts from copied text. PassMyEssay shows your original beside a cleaned copy, with meaningful joiners preserved by default so you can review the changes before copying them.
PassMyEssay’s essay paste cleaner inspects a draft locally and creates a cleaned result separately from the original. It addresses supported spacing and hidden-character groups that can affect searching, selection or line wrapping. It does not rewrite wording, determine authorship or assess an argument.
Use the controls to choose which supported groups to inspect or clean. The original remains available for comparison, so you can decide whether the output preserves the text you intended.
The supported zero-width and space groups are selectable. Non-breaking spaces such as U+00A0 and U+202F can be normalized when that is appropriate. The cleaner preserves U+200C and U+200D joiners, which can be meaningful in some writing systems. Directional marks and variation/tag characters are off by default.
Character meanings depend on context. Review multilingual text, mathematical notation, identifiers and specialist typography before applying a choice. A visible gap between words may not be an ordinary space, even when it looks similar.
The code point is shown for explanation; this is not a hidden authorship signature.
study group (the gap is U+00A0)
study group (ordinary U+0020 space)
A non-breaking space can keep two words together at a line break. Normalize it only when ordinary spacing suits the text and destination document.
Read the original and result side by side. Check paragraph boundaries, script joins, accents, formulas, URLs and citations. Confirm that any unusual character you expect to keep remains in the result and that selection changes match the groups you enabled.
Copy the reviewed result into a test document before replacing an important original. Plain-text cleanup does not preserve styling, tables, footnotes or layout from the source editor.
Hidden characters can be introduced by word processors, websites, messaging apps and other copy paths. Their presence alone does not show who wrote a passage or which model was involved. Cleaning a character cannot certify originality or improve the underlying argument.
For language changes, use the separate phrase-review and writing workflow. For authorship questions, follow your institution’s process and use drafts and source notes as part of your ordinary work.
Keep the source application open and paste a duplicate passage into the cleaner. Select the character groups related to the problem you observed rather than changing every possible group.
Inspect the result for script joins, formulas, URLs, line breaks and paragraph boundaries. If a meaningful character changed, undo or leave that group unchecked.
Copy the reviewed result into a duplicate document first. Check search, cursor movement and wrapping there before deciding whether it should replace the text in your working file.
Invisible characters are formatting artifacts, not proof that a model wrote a passage. This local utility removes a defined set of zero-width and non-breaking characters. Review multilingual text, mathematical notation and meaningful joins before using the cleaned copy.
For the written argument, use the essay phrase checker, grammar checker or word counter for a separate, clearly defined revision task.
